Main Window

This section explains the Main Window of the EPSON PRINT Image Framer Tool.

Note:
We recommend that no more than 200 P.I.F. Frames are stored in each folder.

Create New button

Creates a new P.I.F. Frame.

Edit button

Edits an existing P.I.F. Frame.
Select a P.I.F. Frame and then click this button.

Close button

Closes EPSON PRINT Image Framer Tool.

Select Category

Selects a category of the frames to register.
The frames in the selected category are displayed.

Move button

Moves P.I.F. Frames from the Add Destination window to the currently selected folder.
Select P.I.F. Frames that you want to move from the Add destination window, and then click this button.
The moved files are removed from the Add destination window.

Add button

Moves the selected P.I.F. Frames to the software for P.I.F. or a memory card.
Select P.I.F. Frames (that you want to add) from the Add source window, and then click this button.
The P.I.F. Frames are then deleted from the Add source list.
However, the P.I.F. Frames contained in the software CD-ROM are copied.

Copy button

Copies P.I.F. Frames from the selected folder to the software for P.I.F. or a memory card, or from the software for P.I.F. or a memory card, to the selected folder.
Select P.I.F. Frames (that you want to copy) from Add source or Add destination, and then click this button.

Delete button

Deletes P.I.F. Frames.
Select P.I.F. Frames (that you want to delete) from Add source window or Add destination window, and then click this button.

P.I.F. Frames in Add Destination

Displays P.I.F. Frames that are already added to the software for P.I.F. or a memory card.
If the software for P.I.F. is selected as Add Destination, "Software for P.I.F." is displayed.
If a printer with a memory card slot or a digital camera is selected as Add Destination, the destination drive and "Memory Card in Printer" or "Digital Camera" is displayed.

Frame

The thumbnails of P.I.F. Frames and the icons for each frame's type are displayed.

P.I.F. Frames for PC

Available for the software for P.I.F.

P.I.F. Frames for Printers

Can be added to the memory card in EPSON printers with a memory card slot for printing.

P.I.F. Frames for Digital Cameras

Can be added to EPSON digital cameras with PRINT Image Framer support for taking new photographs and printing.

Supported Paper Size

The paper size supported in the P.I.F. Frame and an icon are displayed.

Title/File Name

The title and file name of the P.I.F. Frame are displayed.

Frame

The thumbnails of P.I.F. Frames and the icons for each frame's type are displayed.

P.I.F. Frames for PC

Available for the software for P.I.F.

P.I.F. Frames for Printers

Can be added to the memory card in EPSON printers with a memory card slot for printing.

P.I.F. Frames for Digital Cameras

Can be added to EPSON digital cameras with PRINT Image Framer support for taking new photographs and printing.

Supported Paper Size

The paper size supported in the P.I.F. Frame and an icon are displayed.

Title/File Name

The title and file name of the P.I.F. Frame are displayed.

New Folder button

Creates a folder in the currently selected folder.
Select a folder from the folder tree, and then click this button.

Folder tree

Displays a folder. The folder selected at the last time is displayed as the default. The Desktop folder appears if EPSON PRINT Image Framer Tool is started for the first time or if the folder selected at the last time does not exist.

Select Source

Selects a source for adding frames from the following two options:

My Computer

Select this option when adding P.I.F. Frames saved in the PC or included in the software CD-ROM.

Software for P.I.F

Select this option when adding P.I.F. Frames from the software for P.I.F.

Note:
  • When the printer does not support the paper size of the P.I.F. Frame, it cannot print the frame. Select the supported paper size.
  • The P.I.F. Frames for roll papers are not supported in Mac OS X. The P.I.F. Frames for roll papers are marked with the Not supported icon.
