Problems in Creating a P.I.F. Frame

The image data cannot be loaded using the Background/Decoration tool.
The created P.I.F. Frames cannot be saved overwriting an existing file. (For Windows 2000/XP)
The image data cannot be selected.
The process does not complete properly. (For Mac OS X)
You cannot add your original P.I.F. Frame to the software for P.I.F.

The image data cannot be loaded using the Background/Decoration tool.

Make sure that the file exists in the specified location and it is in a format that EPSON PRINT Image Framer Tool can read. See the following sections for details:

The created P.I.F. Frames cannot be saved overwriting an existing file. (For Windows 2000/XP)

Log on as an administrator, if you cannot overwrite and save a file. When you log on as a user without administrator privilege, you may not overwrite an access-restricted file or a file in an access-restricted folder.

The image data cannot be selected.

Select image data that is not copyrighted. When you select a copyrighted image, you see the message "This file cannot be read because it is protected by copyright."

The process does not complete properly. (For Mac OS X)

Increase the virtual memory in the Control Panel. If you use large files, about 500 MB of hard disk space is needed. Restart the computer after increasing the virtual memory.

You cannot add your original P.I.F. Frame to the software for P.I.F.

Make sure the P.I.F. Frame information is entered. Click the Frame Information button in the Toolbar. In the Frame Information dialog box, enter the information for the P.I.F. Frame you created. See the following sections for details:
